Comrade Samarendra Konai, a CPI (M) member of Khameddagram branch was brutally murdered by the TMC goons at Margram in Birbhum district on August 18, 2009 (Tuesday). Konai was the Karmadhakshya of No 2 Panchayat Samiti of Rampurhat. On his way back to home, some TMC goons hurled bombs at Konai.
