UNITED NATIONS COMMISSION ON HUMAN RIGHTS KEEPS SILENCE OVER MAOIST BRUTALITIES IN INDIA

Comrade Gobinda Samanta, a school-teacher in profession and a CPI (M) leader was brutally fl ocked to death by some TMC activists at Panskura of East Midnapore district on June 5, 2009 (Friday). A severely injured Mahato was brought to the Sambhunath Pandit hospital in a critical condition, but could not hold his breath for long. Mahato’s limbs were broken by TMC activists as they beaten him up by bamboo and wood sticks.
